Our Mission

Established in 1993 with support from the European Commission, the European Association for Computer Assisted Language Learning, EUROCALL, brings together researchers and practitioners who feel passionate about the use of technology for the learning and teaching of languages and cultures. EUROCALL promotes the creation and sharing of knowledge in areas such as Applied Linguistics, Corpus Linguistics, Digital Pedagogy, Digital Literacies, and Computer-Mediated Communication.

While engaging a vibrant audience of CALL professionals from around the globe, we offer a European forum for the creation and dissemination of innovative research and practice in our field.

We provide a supportive environment: at our annual conferences, during events organised by our growing number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and through access to our ever-expanding networks via social media. We also promote the submission of high-quality publications either in the ReCALL journal, The EUROCALL Review or in our short papers volume from the conference.

Thanks to our members who as individuals and in teams continue to push boundaries in CALL-related research and practice, we have been going from strength to strength for over 27 years and look forward to welcoming you to an exceptional community of CALL professionals.

Welcome

We look forward to working with you...
